Our Past Covid-19 Work:

Our organization was one of the many Community Based Organizations  that was founded by Oregon Health Authority – Public Health Division in 2020 to promote the messages of the virus in a culturally specific manner. We started with making phone calls to our community members for the purpose of outreach and to provide the necessary education information as we learn about them.

January 6 2021, we launched our  first Covid19 events. It was a drive through Social Distanced, fully PPE Testing Event, which was followed by many Vaccination Clinics. Since then, with collaboration with multiple partners,  we have hosted and co-hosted  37 vaccination clinics in all; 13  in 2021, 17 in 2022, and 7 in 2023. In addition, we conducted a series of outreach/education events.  During these times, our nurses vaccinated about 1000’s of individuals, including children, infants and babies. We have provided all the Covid-19 vaccine types, boosters shots; 1st, 2nd, third…. Our clinics also provided vaccinations to other public health emergencies, such as Mpox, and including flu shots to everyone who came through our clinics.

Most importantly, We provided many food boxes; Traditional and American, and handed out 1000s of hand sanitizers, masks and household cleaning supplies, and outreach materials. These supplies were made possible through the support of our partners, other organizations, and individual donors.

Thanks to all, without you this work would not have been possible.

Vaccination clinics and Outreach Activities are ongoing: Contact us for more information and thanks.
